Every design begins with a question: How will this bag fit into the Freja woman’s wardrobe and life — not just now, but years from now?

For me, showing this process has always mattered. These bags aren’t just products; they’re expressions of care — small, lasting reminders that beautiful things can be made slowly, thoughtfully, and with heart.

Each piece passes through more than a hundred steps before it reaches you. It’s a rhythm of precision and patience that reminds me why I started Freja in the first place: to create with intention, honor the craft, and build something that endures. Every curve, seam, and stitch reflects an ongoing pursuit of simplicity done well — a devotion to craft that you can feel, even if you can’t see it.

Because the story of how something is made is, to me, the truest reflection of why it exists.

Beyond The Materials

Since 2019, our factory has grown from one small annual order to a bustling production line of 50 full-time team members — from a single corner to two full floors filled with care, skill, and purpose.

Every visit begins the same way: with a shared pot of tea and familiar faces who have been with us since the very first Linnea Tote. Many have doubled their incomes, built families, and found stability through this craft.

It takes over 100 hands to bring each Freja bag to life — each belonging to someone with their own dreams, families, and futures. My purpose has always been to give them a vehicle to get there, because every day, they invest tirelessly in mine.

Freja has never been just about bags. It’s my mission to leave the world a little better than I found it — through our artisans, the community, and you. Together, we’re proving that small, thoughtful things can leave a meaningful mark on the world.
